About us
Rooted in tradition.
Made for today.
Named for our hometown — Foley, Alabama — and proudly veteran owned & operated.
The Foley Fig Company was founded on a love for simple ingredients and timeless flavors. It started, as most good things do, in a kitchen in Foley, Alabama that smelled like something wonderful was about to happen — a pot of figs collapsing into jam, a wooden spoon resting on the rim, and more jars than cupboard space.
We believe figs are nature's proof that sweetness doesn't need improving. So we don't improve it. We source the finest figs at peak ripeness, cook them in batches small enough to stir by hand, and seal every jar like it's headed to family — because for the first few years, it was.
Foley, Alabama — it's in the name
Our company carries the name of our hometown on the Alabama Gulf Coast, where fig trees grow in backyards like fences grow in other towns. Every jar is made here, packed here, and shipped from here.
Veteran owned & operated
The same values that guide service guide this kitchen: discipline, consistency, and doing the job right when nobody's watching. We're proud to be a veteran-owned business, and prouder still that you can taste it in the standard of every batch.
What we make
Fig jam with real fruit texture. Honey fig spread that melts into anything warm. Dried figs, tender at the center. And a gift box that makes you look like a very thoughtful person with very good taste.
How we make it
- Real ingredients — figs, honey, lemon, sea salt. You can pronounce our whole pantry.
- Small batch — copper pots, wooden spoons, and patience. Never a factory line.
- Naturally sweet — no refined sugars, no shortcuts. The fruit does the talking.
- Made with care — every jar is checked, labeled, and packed by hand.

The orchard
Gulf Coast figs gathered by hand when they're heavy with sugar — never before, never after.

The fruit
Only the ripest make the cut. The rest become the baker's snack.

The kitchen
Slow heat, small pots, and recipes that haven't changed because they don't need to.
